Faridabad News: Manav Rachna Educational Institution Holds Anti-Tobacco Rally

Faridabad News:  Manav Rachna Educational Institution organized Anti-Tobacco Rally on 31st May 2012. All the institutions related to Manav Rachna International University participated in the Rally which was flagged off by Shri Balraj Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad from MRIU at sector-43, Faridabad. Dr A K Kapoor, Director Principal, MRDC and Mr Mukesh Gambhir, Director, RMR, MREI were organizing this show on behalf of Manav Rachna Institution and large number of students and staff were participating in it. From MRIU the buses proceeded to Lions Club Office at Nehru Ground, Faridabad. At Lions club all the students were provided with light refreshments, water and cold drink and were encouraged by whole team of organizers i.e. Mr Chanana, Mr Shyam Kathuria and Lions Club President Mr Malik. From the Lions Club Office, the Rally proceeded marching towards B K Chowk from where it reached B K Hospital and was addressed by Dr Yadav, CMO, Faridabad. He has appreciated MRIU efforts and appreciated MRIU efforts and cheered the students for this noble cause. He has addressed the students and appreciated their courage and enthusiasm and effort to educate the people about the harmful effects of tobacco which is consumed by a large section of society. After that, the Rally moved to the Commissioner office where Mr T Suresh, IAS Officer, Faridabad also applauded the efforts of MRIU and cheered the students who have shown extra ordinary courage in organizing and participating in the Rally. From the Commissioners office we headed towards Manav Rachna Head Office at NIT NH-5, Faridabad.
