Faridabad News: 15 Faridabad villages under scanner for illegal mining

FARIDABAD: Days after forming a special task force to keep a check on illegal sand mining in Faridabad, the district administration has identified 15 sensitive villages which would be under surveillance.
These villages are Basantpur, Agwanpur, Dadsiya, Kidawali, Moujabad, Dalelpur, Rajpur Kalan, Alipur Shikargah, Tilori, Amipur, Manjhawali, Ghudasan, Chandpur, Arua and Chhainsa.
A senior official said that responsibility of sarpanch, patwari, in-charge of concerned police station and village representatives have also been identified. They would also help check illegal mining. He said police would keep an eye on bridges — Palla, Khedi, BPTP, Sihi and Chandawali – constructed on Agra canal and Gurgaon canal.
