Haryana News: Haj Committee of India Fixes Foreign Exchange Rate Of Saudi Riyal For Haj-1433-2012

Haryana News: Haj Committee of India has fixed the foreign exchange rate of one Saudi Riyal equivalent of Indian Rs 15.2346 for Haj-1433-2012.

While stating this here today, Mr Aftab Ahmed, Chairman of the Haryana State Haj Committee said that the pilgrims were advised to deposit the balance amount of foreign exchange in accordance with the accommodation category opted by them and their foreign exchange entitlement after deducting the amount of Rs 51000 already paid towards advance foreign exchange.

A pilgrim would have to pay Rs 1,64,905 for green category accommodation and Rs 1,36,264 for Aziziya category of accommodation, he added.

Mr Aftab Ahmed said that the balance amount of foreign exchange and advance air fare should be deposited through core banking system only across various branches of State Bank of India, indicating their cover number, bank reference number, branch name and code on the pay in slip. The last date for remittance of balance foreign exchange and advance air fare amount to the Haj committee of India, Mumbai would be July 31,2012.

The accommodation status details have been made available on website www.hajcommittee.com. The pilgrims were advised to check their accommodation category before making balance payment. No further correspondence in this regard would be entertained.
