Haryana News: Transport Commissioner warns vehicle dealers

Haryana News: Transport Commissioner, Haryana has directed all the vehicle dealers in the state to observe strictly the instructions issued by the government regarding temporary registration mark of the vehicles.
He said that it had been observed that the vehicle dealers were charging temporary registration fee by three to four times more from the buyers of the vehicles which was against the law. Instructions regarding charging prescribed fee for the temporary registration of the vehicles had already been issued by the government. These instructions were not being followed by the dealers and they had not yet put up notice board of size 18 X 24 inches for the information of the common people.
He said that it had also been observed that dealers were indulged in malpractice while booking new vehicles. The agencies were not giving vehicles on time to the buyers rather selling them in black market which is against the law. Strict action would be taken against unscrupulous dealers as per law, he added.
