The classic taste of the royal era is being served by ‘Paak Mughlai Food’ from Delhi. The chefs are dishing out the best of biryani, qeema, mutton nahari and exceptional barbeque preparations that are attracting visitors in huge numbers. The food stall of Maharashtra by MTDC at the Food Court is serving delicacies of the state. A beeline of customers at the stall are eyeing for Misal Pav, Vada pav, Loni Sponge Dosa, peri peri dosa and the ever famous Pav Bhaaji. Apart from this MTDC chefs are offering truly Maharashtrian tradition on the platter in the form of Pooran Poli, Modak and Pithla Bhakri. These delicacies are made especially during religious ceremonies and offered to gods on such occasions. These dishes are reasonably priced and are available between Rs. 90- 250.
The Thai corner is dishing out the best of the cuisines from the land of smiles. Serving with a big smile, Chef Sangchai Lerdpakai from Thailand says ‘Pad Thai’ is being loved by every visitor and it is offered with a choice of Chicken and prawn. Green curry with rice, Som Tam and chicken wings are also one of the most delectable choices here at Thai Corner.
Flavours from Rajashtan are tantalizing the taste buds with its famous dishes and flavours. Enjoy a range of authentic cuisines like Churma Laddoo, Pyaaz kachori, special Thaali, Daal Bati with Bajra Roti. The kulfi’ stall is never free as ‘kulfi’ lovers continue to throng it to get their favourite sweet-cold bites. The stall serves ‘malai kulfi,’ ‘pista kulfi,’ chocolate ‘kulfi’, mango ‘kulfi’, ‘paan kulfi’ and special ‘matka kulfi.’
Young chefs tossing a special fare
The food stall of Institute of Hotel Management, Faridabad, offers a wide range of items from saag maaki to chole bature, dal makhni and gajar ka halwa. These are being prepared keeping in view the preferences of the visitors.
Earlier today the Mehndi competition (Juniors) held at the Natya Shala saw enthusiastic competition from school children. More than 160 children from 10 schools showcased their talent at making mehndi and impressed one and all with their skills. The judges had challenging task deciding the winners.
